2026 Class Descriptions
Moving Faith | Our bodies are holy. Which means how we live and move is spiritual. This class explores what it means to be embodied - in all the diversity of the human body and experience
Art and Faith | In the beginning God created, and then invited us to be participate in that creation. Explore faith through the practice of art. No previous experience necessary.
Grief and Loss | Grief is the cost of love. All people experience loss and grief in their lives. Even Jesus. How do we grieve? How do we walk with others who are experiencing loss? Where is God in the midst of it? Explore these questions and more.
Living Love Out Loud | Cornel West once said, "Justice is what love looks like in public." How do we live a love and faith that advocates for the thriving of all? What are the foundations of our faith that drive us to be advocates? As we prepare to be faithful leaders in the world, what kind of world are we working towards?
Vocation and Discernment | Corrie Ten Boom once said, "Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God." What does your future hold? How is God calling you to use your gifts for the good of the world? What is the next step and how do you discern between what is good and faithful? (This class is reserved for 18+ campers)
Bible Says What? | How can everyone read the same Bible but come away with such different interpretations? Who put it together? How do we even start to read something that seems so complicated? Explore questions about and approaches to scripture - and how it can have a positive impact in our lives.
